Honouring our Anzacs

On Anzac Day, Australians gather to remember all those who have served our nation in war, conflict and peacekeeping operations, and the more than 103,000 who made the ultimate sacrifice.
While Anzac Day has its origins on the shores of Gallipoli, it has become a day of national reflection, recognising the service and sacrifice of Australian and New Zealand forces across generations.
This year marks 25 years since the commencement of Australia’s service in Afghanistan, our longest war. Around 39,000 Australian Defence Force personnel were deployed over more than a decade of operations. Hundreds of Australian Federal Police and other government personnel also served, alongside many in industry who supported the mission.
We remember the 41 Australian service personnel who lost their lives in Afghanistan, and acknowledge all those who returned home carrying the physical and psychological impacts of their service.
As an Australian company supporting national defence and regional security, CEA Technologies contributes to the capability of the Australian Defence Force through sovereign phased array radar and related technologies. We are also proud to employ veterans, reservists and their families, and to support their ongoing contribution to Australia’s national security.
On this day, and every day, we honour all Australians who have served, and continue to serve, our nation. We acknowledge their courage, sacrifice and commitment, and the families who stand beside them.
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, we will remember them.
Lest we forget.
