CEA Technologies Board Director, Amanda Holt, is the proud recipient of the 2025 Women in Defence Awards Hall of Fame Lifetime Achievement Award.

Ms Holt’s recognition reflects a career dedicated to shaping Australia’s defence future through bold leadership, engineering excellence and a passion for lifting others up along the way.

In her acceptance speech, Ms Holt reflected on her 25-year journey in the defence sector and spoke about the importance of women recognising and championing one another so that the industry can continue to evolve for future generations.

“The first 10 years of my career, it was remarkable if there was another female technologist in the room,” Ms Holt said.

“The women who went before me and showed us that space was available and we deserved to take up space, and our voice mattered and in fact, the differences in our voices really mattered. We had to be authentic, and that's when we find our success. People actually championed that before me.”

Ms Holt’s contribution to CEA Technologies’ board has been instrumental in helping to guide the company’s strategic direction, with a strong focus on innovation, workforce capability and diversity in STEM.
