CEA Technologies and the Commonwealth of Australia sign $272M LAND 8113 Phase 2 Contract

Canberra, 12 February 2025 – CEA Technologies and the Commonwealth of Australia have signed a landmark $272 million contract for LAND 8113 Phase 2, securing the delivery of 14 Multi-Mission Phased Array Radar (MMPAR) systems for the Australian Army.

This advanced radar capability will be instrumental in supporting Joint Fires projects, including Long-Range Fires and Protected Mobile Fires, strengthening the Australian Defence Force’s (ADF) integrated force operations.

The continued integration of CEA radars within the ADF underscores Australia’s commitment to a unified and modernised defence strategy.

A joint media statement has been released, highlighting the investment in Australian-made radar systems to enhance the Army’s long-range fires capability.
