Rescuing dogs, diggers and families.

The Young Diggers Dog Squad is rescuing abandoned dogs from the RSPCA and like facilities and training them to become Therapy / Assistance Dogs : http://www.youngdiggers.com.au/dogs

The dogs are trained to support the rehabilitation of serving and ex-serving members of the Australian Defence Force who are dealing with the effects of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorders (PTSD).

The benefits of this unique program are numerous and broad ranging, not only do the dogs assist the individuals, they also help their families to better cope with the effects of PTSD as well as saving the lives of abandoned dogs. http://www.youngdiggers.com.au/our-dog-squad-stories

CEA Technologies supports the very commendable work being undertaken by the Young Diggers Dog Squad and has sponsored the training of rescue dog “Charlie”.

As at September 2015, Charlie has passed his Level 1 Training and has been awarded his “L” plate dog jacket. He is now officially a member of the Dog Squad and is well on his way to completing his training to become a fully trained Assistance Dog.
